Alan spends most of his time staring at the sky, waiting for an interesting aircraft to pass over his house
(he has recently managed to pass the habit onto his two year old granddaughter).
About 95% of the time, though, it's raining in England, so Alan is forced to retreat indoors, where he can usually be found at his canvas, with a siamese on his shoulder, either working on commissions, or his favourite subject, maritime. Alan will happily take a bash at any kind of art, be it oils, watercolour or gouache, and has flirted with just about every kind of subject - trains, ships, planes, cars, dogs, cats, landscapes, seascapes - even the odd dragon or two.
Alan has displayed his art in various local galleries, and recently donated some paintings to a museum in America *details*. He has been featured in the local press and in American publications - read all about his coverage in the press section.
Alan is 63, and based in Hertfordshire, England. You can see examples of his work in the gallery section of this website, and he would love you to request a commission. |
